BEAUMONT CLUB
GREEK CLOTH TAKES MOLYNEUX Undoubtedly one of the finest country race fixture in Otago is that of the Beaumont Club on Easter Monday. Tor the annual fixture the weather was glorious, the sun shining from a cloudless sky. The attendance was a record. During the day the totalisator handled £10,279, as against £10,9241, the reduction being duo to the number of one-dividend fields. Save for the compulsory disqualification of Alartis, the winner of the Alolyneux Handicap, for failure to draw the weight, there was complete harmony at the meeting, which was exceptionally well managed. Air John Sheehy (president) and Air H. A. Hollamby (secretary) were at the head of affairs. The taring was very clean, and some keen sport was seen. On AA T ateh, showing an improvement on Lawrence form, scored a double. Results: — TRIAL STAKES, Bosovs; second 10, third 5. 6f. 3 Air AV.
