(Received March 21, at 11. a.m.) With the coffin before the high altar, Requiem Mass was celebrated fit Westminste Cathedral for the late Sir Charles Skerrntt The chief mourners were Ins sisters (-Mrs Compton and Miss Julia and Miss Mary Skerrett), Those present included Sill James Parr, Sir Charles Holdsworth, Lord Strathspey, Lady August us Inskip, Lord Trevor, Viscount Falkland, Mrs Amery, and Colonel Do Satgc (representing tho Dorn mans Office), The pall bearers were S>r James Parr, Lord Strathspcv, Mr Cecil 'Wray, Mr James Conchie, Mr Peter Compton, and Mr H. Y. Butler. The interment was at Kcnsal Green Th' wreaths received included those from the New Zealand Gov.rnment and people, tho laiy socm ties of New Zealand, England, Wellington, and Taranaki, and the _ Union Steam Ship Compniy. Tho coffin was covered with tho New Zealand dag from iho steamer Fort Denison -—Australian Press Assocciation- Pmted Service.
