In the House of Commons, Mr Cecil Hilton (C.) complained that, while the Lancashire cotton mills were working short time, a contract for 2,000,0()U pairs of bootlaces for the Navy was placed with a foreign firm. Every tag was stamped “ Made in England.’' In the course of the same debate.
