Kilpatrick (in the chair), the Revs. ,1. .). Cairncv, Dr F. N. Alerrington. Messrs dames Begg, T. C. Ross, T. Somerville. A. Al. Cameron, Dr Rile,', and Air Gilra.v. MBarton from the board, on account ol Ins call to Lawrence, was accepted witJi regret, Mr Barton having shown great interest in the college since, its ioinidaturn The Rev John Kilpatrick signified his desire to bo released from the dutio. of chairman, and Dr Alcrringtun was asked to draw up a minute conveying to him the governors’ warm thanks tor hi.s great sendees and unlading interest in tlie college. On the motion of Air Kilpatrick Air T. C. lios.s was appointed chairman, and Air James Begg vice-chairman. The members of the board expressed appieciation of the work of Air Gilray and his stait throughout the year, ami of tlie excellent results that had attended their efforts. Air James Begg. in proposing (lie motion, said althougo tlm growth of the school was comparatively slow it was stcaddy increasing, There are now TJ-1 boys on the iol I, lil ty-four boarders. Dr Riley (school medical officer), m seconding the motion, referred to tho high maiks gained in tho recent public examinations, and made special mention of the very line physique of the boys who come under his care.
