BURNS CLUB

The monthly meeting of the Dunedin Burns Club was held in the Early Settlers’ Hull last evening, and there was a good attendance, .presided over by the president (Mr J. Ha.stie), who extended an invitation to all members to ho present, at the forthcoming annual meeting. He apologised for the absence of some of 1 the choir and members of the club, stating that they wore experiencing trouble caused through the flood. The concert programme opened with the 'part-song. Aye Wankin’ o.’ by the choir, under the emiductorsliip of Mr F. C. Cooper. The other part songs rendered were ‘ Will o’ the Wisp ’ and ‘ Caller Herrin’. 1 The vocalists were Miss Ruhv Wilkinson (‘ Jock o’ llnzoldonn’). Miss Precdy (‘Star o’ Robbie Ginns ’). Miss |{.
