Although the weather was threatening there was a satislaetory tittendance lor the third day of the V.K.G. Autumn Meeting. Cohranveil was third early in tlie race, but won the Autumn Hurdles nicely. This was the fourth win .of the rider, Butler, in the race in live years. There was a splendid eon test, for the C. M. Lloyd Slakes. Mollison was second early in the race, and led at the distance, hut Gothic got up to make a dead heat of it in the last stride. Spanish Galleon, who was on fhe outside rail, led throughout in cotvalc Stakes, to win brilliantly. The owner, Mr E. M. Pearce, won this race last year with Aiollison. r l he jockey, Wilson, had a previous success with Gvden.
Moudiaga- was last to enter the straight in the Autumn .Handicap, but lie won brilliantly. He was ridden by Ibc New Zealander. Ashley Peed, and is owned by Air T. AT. Burke. In the Governor's Plate, which was an exercise gallop, Strepbon led all the way. He has now recorded six wins and one second in nine starts, and his winnings • approximate LIU,ODD in stakes. Hcadmoro had a big lead early in the Biver Handicap, hut tired, and Harbinger won narrowly. Ihe owner is the AMEC, committeeman, Air E.
