(Received March 7, at 9.40 a.m.) A message from Detroit states that David Buick, the founder of the Buick Motor Company, died at the age of seventy-four after a long illness. At one time Mr Buick was very wealthy, but a succession of financial reverses and misfortunes left him virtually penniless at the time of his death. Australian Press Association.
