HO a.m.) ft was stated at Craigwell House this morning that the King had passed a. good night. To-day was fine, with bright sunshine and only a slight wind,so that the King, who arose early, was able to walk from his bedroom to the snnrooin to enjoy the sunlight and warm fresh air. It was later announced that the King passed a, good day. The sun shone brilliantly throughout the' day, and after sitting in the gunroom during the morning His Majesty went hack to his bedroom in the afternoon so that ho would get the full effect of the sun from the western windows. Sir Frederick Ponsonhy (Keeper of the % Privy Purse) visited Craigwell House this afternoon at the King’s command and submitted some papers to His Majesty. ■ Sir Frederick also had a long talk with the King.
