(Received March G, at 1.3 U a.m.) Following General Dc Rivera’s statement that he smelt petrol in foreign criticisms of the regime, now in reply to the criticisms it is semi-officially announced that tho Government is depending on national interests by the nationalisation of industries, from which tho Treasury will benctit by S,U(JU,U(JO pesetas, causing foreign profits proportionately to be reduced. The announcement adds that it is confident that the regime will overcome all attacks, foreign and internal.—Australian Press Association-United Service.
