LONDON, March L (Received March 5, at 1 p.m.) hi the House of Commons Sir Robert Thomas inquired whether Mr Arnery, In view' of Empire development," resuscitation of British trade, and the provision of employment, would approach the dominions with the idea ol imperial co-operation in public, works, such as docks ami railways. Mr Am cry, while anxious to promote practical development, doubted whether such an inquiry would serve the end in view. Mr Gower inquired if Mr Arnery would approach the dominions to adopt something similar to the Empire Marketing Board in order to promote Ihe sale of British goods. Mr Arnery said the Government would be glad to see such schemes in operation, but the matter was not one whereon he could initiate suggestions to the dominions. —Australian Press Association.
