[Per United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, January 31. Nominations tor the positions of employers’ and \Vrkers’ representative.-, on “the Court of Arbitration closed today. The following nominations wen received: — By the Industrial Union of Employers- For nominated member, Mr L. J Schmitt (Wellington); for acting nominated member, Mr S. ifi. Wright (AuckBy the Industrial Union oi Employ-ees-‘For nominated member, Messrs A. L Monteith (Wellington) and J N. Easdale (Nelson); for acting nominated member, Messrs W. K, ; S.ll(Auckland). F. D. Cornwell (Wellington), A • Thomson (Nelson), and J. I urtoll (Auckland). , , Jr. the ease of the employers repre sentafive a ballot will not be necessary, Mr L. T. Schmitt having been elected without opposition. The unions of workers will lie armea by the Labour Department immediately tii make their recommendations. The sitting members ot the court are: Employers, Mr G. T. Booth (Christchurch); employees, Mr A. u. Monteith (Wellington).
