Mail'roy (Wellington) beat Rhodes Williams (Wellington), 10-8, 6-1, 6-4. Sturt (Auckland) beat Lowry (Hawke’s Bay), 6-2, 6-2, 6-0. France (Wellington) beat Watson (Otago), 6-1, 6-1, 6-2. Glanville (Canterbury) beat Martin (Auekland), 6-3, 8-6, 6-2. Bartlett (Auckland) boat P, H. Jones (Maori). 6-0, 6-2, 6-U. LADIES’ SINGLES. —Third Hound.— Mrs Adams (Wellington) beat Miss Byers (Wanganui), 7-5, 7-5, Miss Spiers (Canterbury) heat Miss Nieholls (Wellington), 6-4, 6-1. Miss Tracy (Wellington) beat Mrs Melody (Wellington), 6-0, 6-5. Miss Marjorie Macfarlauo (Auckland) beat Miss Gibson (South Canterbury), 6-1, 6-2. MIXED DOUBLES. —First Round.— Miss Andrew (Canterbury) and Perkins (Wellington) won from Miss D. Miller and U. Johns (Auckland), by default, Mrs Jones and Jones won from Miss P. Miller and A. C. Johns, by default.
