The municipal pawnshop today requested the Paris Council to vote £7*5.000 to erect a three-storey garage to house cars. Thus far 000 are m pawn, there being no fewer than 190 pledged this year. Another use for a motor car is reported from Rome, the owner selling the car to a cafe proprietor for 10,000 coffees. The cafe is bound to provide coffee to the seller or his friends as often as requested.
