KNOCKED DOWN BY CAR. Peter Lyders, aged 21, residing in Ravenswood road, was admitted to the hospital at 8.45 last evening, suffering from a fractured left leg, received through being knocked down by a motor car near Berwick. TWO MAORIS KILLED. Two Maoris were killed and three injured when a motor car skidded and somersaulted on the main road between Gisborne and Morere this morning. The party belonged to Whakatane Press Association telegram.
