GENEROUS BEQUESTS

AUCKLAND, December 21. The following is a list of bequests under the will of the late Mr Joseph Wilson, who for many years was a resident of Hawera., and more recently lived in Calliope road, Devon port, Auckland: —
Jenkins Salvation Home for Boys, Eltham £100; Dr Barnado’s Homes for Children, England, £100; Jubilee Institute for the Blind, Auckland, £100; Public Hospital, Hawera, £200; Anglican Church Building Eund, Stanley Bay. £100; Catholic homes for destitute cmldron, Onehunga, £SO; Catholic homes for destitute children Takapuna, £SO; Catholic school, Hobson streetj Auckland, £SO; Salvation Army home for orphan children, Clifton road, Ponsonby. £.100: home for orphan children, Richmond road, Grey Lynn, £200; Anglican home for orphan children, Papatoetoe, £200; Young Women’s Christian Association, Queen street, Auckland, £200; Girls’ Friendly Society, Wellesley street, Auckland, £200; Young Men’s Christian Association, Wellesley street, Auckland, £200; Hawera Beautifying Society, Hawera, £100; the Rev. Jasper Caklor’s mission, Auckland, £IOO. The executors under the will are Mrs H. E. Wilson and Mr John Alexander, of Auckland, solicitor. Mrs H. E. Wilson, the widow, has very generously paid for the installation in the Auckland Mental Hospital of one all-electric six-valvo set with seven claritone speakers. The equipment is the last word in radio appliances, and will enable the patients in the seven separate wards at the main building to enjoy the pleasures or radio. It constitutes a very handsome and generous Christmas gift to the patients.
