ST. DOMINIC'S COLLEGE The annual break-up ceremony of St. Dominic’s College was held on Thursday, Bishop Whyte presiding. Among the guests were the Rev. Fathers Collins, Adm, Woods, Gavin, and Hanrahan, and tho Christian Brothers. A delightful programme was excellently and charmingly rendered by the pupils of the junior and prepatory school, prior to the. distribution of prizes in the iporniug. In the evening, a Christmas mystery play was presented by the senior pupils. MORNINGTOH CONVENT SCHOOL The Convent School, Mornington, held its annual closing ceremony in the gymnasium of the new school on Saturday afternoon. There was a large gathering of parents and friends. Dr Whyte, who presided, presented the prizes, the list being read by the Rev. Father M'Mahon. Tho sisters are to be congratulated, on tho proficiency displayed by the children, who went through an interesting programme of instrumental music, _ choruses, vocal solos, and recitations in a most creditable manner.
