SCENE IN PARLIAMENT
NORTHERN IRELAND HOUSE POLICEMEN CALLED IN. BELFAST, November 26. Amid uproarious scenes eight members of the Opposition, leaving only two, withdrew or were ejected from the Northern Ireland House of Commons as the result of >a protest against the Representation of the People Bill, conferring suffrage ’on women, over twenty-one years of age. Air Cahir Healy (Nationalist), when “ named,” declined to leave, and defied the sergeant-at-arms, but went quietly at the request of police who were called in by the Deputy-Speaker, Air Aloles. Mr Beattie M’'Mullcu shouted: “It is a scandal. If you put me out you’ll have to put out the whole damned lot.” Ho invited tho Deputy-Speaker to eject him, and when Mr Aloles declined Mr M'Alullen bellowed: “ There will be no business done until I am put out.” He was suspended and ordered to leave. He declined, but left when the police entered for the third time.
