DRINK BILL FOR YEAR Prow Association—-By Telegraph —Copyright, SYDNEY, December 4. (Received December 4, at 12.20 p.m.) The New South Wales drink bill for the year ended Juno 50 was £13,607,000, acording to the Government Statistician, which is equal to £5 13s 4d per head of the population, or Odmore than the previous year. The consumption totalled 28,325,000 gallons of beer, 1,752,000 gallons or wine, and 1,153,000 gallons of proof spirits. _ The Excise duties amounted to a little over £500,000.
