A marvellous change has taken place at the Battery Grounds, Ocean Beach, where there now stands three lino amusement machines, numerous stalls, and a well-built cabaret, A try-out of everything will be held to-night, when all the helpers will be present. Considering the work that has been done on the grounds and the organising that has taken place, the carnival should be one of tho best yet held in Dunedin.
