BODY FOUND IN HARBOUR
INQUEST ADJOURNED Mr J. R. Bartholomew, S.M.. coroner, lield an inquest this morning at Port Chalmers, regarding a body found floating yesterday afternoon in the harbour, near Goat Island. It was ideuti (led later as that of one of the victims of the recent drowning tragedy Alexander Bell, labourer, residing at 33 Ann street. Roslyn, identified the boclv as that of his son, Archibald Bell, who was a single man, aged twentylive years, and resided with witness. On the evening of the 10th inst, deceased left home, accompanied by Ins younger brother, James, and went to a crib owned by James Jeffrey at Macandrow Bay. They intended to remain there over night, and then to go to Quarantine Island the following day, which was Sunday. Witness did not see deceased after he left home on the Saturday evening. The inquest was then adjourned.
