The Bank of New Zealand has received the following advieo from its London office, under date 20th inst. The sales have opened with strong competition and largo attendance of buyers. There is an active demand by all branches of the trade Greasy merino is Id to lid deader;, stipes average 7| per cent., and scoured cross-breds <•* per cent, to 10 per cent, dearer. No greasy cross-breds arc offered.
