DUNEDIN STOCK EXCHANGE There wits a close market in Bamc of NW Soutli Wales this morning, buyers offering £sl 15s, with a seller at £52. For Bank of New Zealands a buyer quoted 61s 6d, without response from sellers. Dank of Australasias, which are now er div., had buyers at £lB 15s, with no apparent seller. Union Steam Ship prefs. were wanted at 20s Bd, with no seller under 21s 2d. For \yeatporl Coals buyers offered 31a 3d cum. div. of Is 3d per share, with no sellers quoting. Them was a seller of National Mortgages at 90s, with a buying quotation at 89s. New Zealand Refrigerating Con(rihuting had a dose market, buyer's quoting 9s 6d, witii a seller asking 9s Bd. ‘ Daily Times ’ were for sale at 78s, with no business resulting. New Zealand Brewers' shares have cased considerably during the last few days, buyers now being prepared lo give 53a Gd, with no seller under 565. The debentures were ou the market at 25s Id, without attracting a seller. There was also a buyer of the stock at 2Ss, but here again sellers were reticent. Waihis have advanced to buyers 15s, with the seller Gd away. Mount Lyclls have also advanced, with a" seller asking 39s 9d and % buyer prepared to give 38s Gd. In the Government Loan section there was a seller of 1935 5J per cent. Inscribed at £lOl ss, and for the 4£- per cent. 1939 free of tax bonds and inscribed buvers are prepared to give £99 7s Gd.
