Business was brisk on the call this morning, sale- being repotted in both issues of the N.Z Betrigcrating Company's shares, 9s Sd beiiur .obtained for tho eon-fribuf-ing issue and 19s for the fully paid*;! Dominion Rubbers at 275; National Electrics at 11s 6d; and N.Z. Breweries (deb.) at 21s 6d; while fft.es were effected on ’Change in N.Z Breweries at 58s and Mount Lyclh at 38s. National Bank of New Zealand- wore inquired for at £7 2s 6d, with a seller askimr £7 ss. There was a dose market in National Insurance* —buyers 16s 10d sidle;- 17s. Wcstporls were inclined to haiden, buyers offering’ 31* sd, with no sellers being attracted. National Mortgage bad a seller at 90s, with a quote from a buyer. After business at 9s sd. N.Z. Refrigerating (cent.) had several buyers at 9s 4d, with sellers at 9s 6d. National Electric buyers wire offering 11* 3d lor further parcels, with sellers at 12s. For N.Z. Breweries, afler a sale at 58s, buyers quoted at 57s 6d ior further parcels, with sellers a( 58 3d. For the .Debentures there wore buyers at 24s 4d, with sellers bd av ay. For Kildare* buyers were preparer.’ (o give 2s 3d, with the seller’s price standing at 2s 7d. Upper Nevis shares had a buyer at 10s, with no seller under 13s.
