That is the problem facing Wallace Beery, the world’s most foolish detective, and Raymond Hatton, newspaper sleuth, in 1 Partners in Crime,’ Paramount’s new type of melodramatic comedy, which commences at the Regent Theatre on Friday. A cull link, signs of a savage struggle, and the fact that the young prosecutor has disappeared—on those slender duos tho baffled police must base their search for the mysterious Mr Smith. Spui'rod on by the hope of finding favour in the eyes of the girl they both love, Beery and Hatton rush to tho rescue where wise men fear to tread. ‘His Tiger Lady,’ the second attraction, Stax's Adolpho Menjon in his latest hit, a glamorous stoiy of India, with glorious settings.
