GENERAL ELECTION. It is reported that no fewer than six more members of the House of Representatives were recently elected members of the Edgeworth Club. Quite a number of the candidates for Vaniament, representing all parties, are members. It seems to bo the only subject they are all agreed upon—the super-excellence of Edgeworth Tobacco. Of course, it can be easily understood how Edgeworth is the ideal pipe smoke for the orator. Its beneficent, satisfying smoothness just puts him in the right train of mind for happy thoughts and brilliant repartee, and the fragrance of its slow-burning flavouring leaf j brings balm and contentment to his* soul when the strain of the election is at its worst.—[Advt.jJ
