CELEBRATION OF THE FEAST AT MOSGIEL The feast of Christ tbo King was celebrated at Holy Cross College Two special trains and many motor cars convoyed a largo number ol people to Mosgiel from Dunedin and surrounding districts. The High Altar was suitably decorated. His Lordship Bishop Whvto carried the Sacred Host in the procession, which encircled the college, grounds. The decorations were on a lavish scale, and did great_creclit to the professors and students of Holy Cross. The order of the procession was as follows: —Crossbearer and acolytes, Children of Mary, pupils of fbe Dunedin Catholic schools, Hibernian Society, both adult and juvenile, goneral congregation, students and priests. The various sections of the procession sang appropriate hymns as they proceeded tnrongb the grounds, the singiim of the Christian Brothers’ boys being delightful. The music for the benediction of the Blessed Sacrament was rendered by a combined choir—St. Joseph’s Cathedral, St. Patrick’s Basilica, Holy Cross students, and St. Mary’s, Mosgiel. The Rev. Father M'Glono was conductor, and Mr A. MTCean was organist. Tbo Rev. Dr O’Neill read the “Act of Consocratip a ” during the benediction. At the close the whole assemblage sang haith of Our Fathers/ The priests and stndents of Holy Cross College are to be complimented on the excellence oi all arrangements. The students’ choir also deserves a word of praise for the excellent rendering of special hymns prior to the benediction service.
