There were no New Zealanders engaged The Longtield aggregate was won by James (Parramatta), with 276 out of a possible 300. Competitors to-day were occupied with the first stage of the King’s Prize Match (300yds, oOOycls, 600yds). A moderate to gusty right front wind caught even experienced shots napping. In the Longtield aggregate, which is for six matches on Monday and Tuesday; Vennell was fourteenth with 209, taking £4. r The Dodds aggregate for three matches on Tuesday was won by Major James, of Concord, with 141. M'lver, who was twentieth with 136, and vennell who was fifty-first with 133, each cook £l.
