Kor the first time :i woman mayor took tho salute of a whole brigade of soldiers at Tenby, in Wales, on Augusts' After attending divine service, conducted by tho Bishop of St. David’s in the parish church, the 160th (South Wales) Infantry Brigade, then in camp near Tenby, marched past the mayor (Mrs Margaret J. Jenkins), who was supported by Colonel Leslie, officer commanding. In taking the salute she was accompanied by the town clerk, the mayoress (Miss Anne Jenkins), aldermen, councillors, and officials. “ Gayley is what yon might call an adroit "man.” “Decidedly. His sins never find him out, and his creditors never find him in.”
