TRINITY METHODIST CHURCH

Yesterday the anniversary .Sunday School services- were held in Trinity Methodist Church, Stuart street. The address at the morning service was given by Pastor W. D. _Moore. taking bis text from Rev. iil7: “I will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written.” The speaker s remarks were most appropriate to the occasion, the children listening with rapt attention throughout the service. In the afternoon a primary department service was held, conducted by Mr A. W. Reed. The Rev. H. E. Beliiiouse conducted the evening service, taking for his text; “My son give me thine heart”; the discourse being a most inspiring one both for the children and adults. At each service memorised chapters of Scripture were recited, and special hymns sung by the children under the baton of Mr S. Lawn, Miss E. Hartley presiding at the organ. There were good attendances at each service, and collections and promises amounted to £2OO. After allowing £25 for Sunday school requirements. the balance will be. devoted to the' new Sunday School building fund.
