STOLE ORGAN

THIEVES IN A CHURCH COWRA (N.S.W.), August 6. Thieves entered tho Anglican Church at Durraja and stole tho organ, the sanctuary carpet, and a broom. The theft was discovered on Saturday, when some of tho committee arrived to prepare the church for yesterday’s service. A trunk' containing the altar ornaments was found open, but nothing was missing from it. The service register, however, was scribbled over on°many pages with shocking profanity. Motor tracks were visible around the building, and traces of a man’s boot were clearly seen, together with signs of the square bottom edge of the organ j having been let down on the ground.
