The case heard iu the Magistrate’s Court yesterday in which Lincoln Garfield Newton (Mr C. B. Barrowclough) proceeded against Francis Albert Lotting (Mr W. D. Taylor) in a claim for £5 fis, alleged to be due for work done and materials supplied during the erection of a garage for the defendant by the plaintiff, was concluded in the afternoon. After hearing lengthy evidence, the Magistrate (Mr J R. Bartholomew) gave judgment for the plaintiff for £2 14s, with total costs of £2 15s. The same plaintiff also claimed from Frank Williams the sum of £35 15s fid, an amount stated to be duo for work done and materials supplied, and judgment was entered for the plaintiff for £29 19s 9(1, with costs of £7 14s.
