Under the auspices of the Otago United Temperance Reform Council Miss Isabel MTorkindale lectured in the Coronation Hall, Mosgiel, last night. Through a break-down of her car on the way from the city, tho lecturer arrived lato_; but the chairman (Mr P, F. Martin) kept the audience entertained in a short appropriate address, and Mrs G. Scott (Dunedin) sang two solos. Tho lecture was entitled 1 New Zealand’s Prido and New Zealand’s Problem,’ and under tins heading tho lecturer gave a most instructive and entertaining address.
