Playing on Oval No. 3, College proved to bo a superior goal-getting team. Otago had the advantage in tbo first spell, and were on attack for most of the time. Off-sido spoiled their efforts. From a good combined run College scored, and Otago, stung by this reverso, made strenuous effort's, eventually netting. Half-time, 1- all. Otago forced matters in the second spell, but were unlucky. College, by combined work, managed to net two more goals, and a very good game resulted; College 3 Otago ... 1 Messrs Miller and Martyn were efficient referees. TRIANGLE v. ’VARSITY A. Oval No. 1 was in a sodden condition, and good hockey was not possible. However, these teams played a good, interesting game, and tbo Blues, playing good defensive hockey, were unlucky. Triangle, whose combination leaves something to bo desired, were all out to win a really good game. Triangle 2 University A ... 1 Mr A. S. Wallace was the referee. TECHNICAL OLD GIRLS v. ’VARSITY B. Technical proved a better team than the Blue B’s at Logan Park.
