The committee which the federation has appointed will confer with the National Federation of Employers' organ the council of which passed a resolution yesterday recognising the far-reaching nature o* tho questions raised and submitting a report to the individual} federations within its membership, and referring it to a committee for a full report. The questions raised in the report of the conference will be the principal subject of discussion at the sixth trades union • conference at Swansea in September, and the principle of closer cooperation involved in the report will, it is expected, play a very important part in tho elections to tho new genoral council of the congress.
