FIERCE GALE IN AUCKLAND HARBOUR (.Per United Press Association.] AUCKLAND, June Id. A fierce easterly gale swept the harbour at an early hour this morning. The scow Piiiika was piled ijp on Point Chevalier Reef after an exciting run before the gale, being left high and dry by the receding tide. The fishing smack Ika was driven ashore alongside I’onsonby wharf. Neither vessel is seriously damaged.
