The official returns of the Meat Producers’ Board for the •dght months ol the current season to May 31 show increases iu export shipments of practically all classes of frozen meat, compared with the corresponding period of the previous year. Tho total killings of stock for export from October 1 to May .'ll, 1928, were as follow (figures for the corresponding period ol last year in (parenthesis) Beef (quarters), ,‘108,882 (128,997). Wether mutton (carcasses), 1,958,092 (1,278,160). Ewe mutton (carcasses), 741,198 (777,764). Lamb (carcasses), 5,464,138 (5,104,916). Porkers (carcasses), 1.17,461 (49,095). Jlaconers, 28,466 (35,426). Boneless beef (freight carcasses), 231,994 (184,76.'!). Sundries (freight carcasses), 55,278 (51,142).
