CONCERT AT MOSGIEL

Those who patronised the concert in aid of the Salvation Army building fund at Mosgiel were treated to an excellent programme, given by the Mcsgiel Band, local and Dunedin artists. The mayor presided, and detailed the objects for which the com cert had been promoted. The band played the following selections:— March, ‘The Great Little Army, ‘Golden Valley,’ and ‘Divisional Command.’ Violin solos were played by Miss Eva Judd-. humorous songs were given by Mr Wiseman.; a vocal duet was sung by Miss Howden and Miss Mullino-er; vocal solos were rendered by Miss Lily Stevens, Miss Olga Burton, Miss -Margaret Howden, Messrs U. Fooarty,'F. Brookes, and Jas. Simpson 0 Miss Edna Stokes and Miss Burton played . the - accompaniments. Master and Miss Frew delighted the audience with recitations. Before the concert closed, the head of the Army corps in Mosgiel (Commandant Lamoncl) acknowledged the help of those who had provided the concert. . '
