Of the ninety-seven passengers who came out by the John Wickliffe in 1848 but one is now alive—namely, Mrs Elizabeth Griffiths, whoso maiden name was Mosley. The John Wickliffe was the storeship of the expedition. The greater number of passengers were on the Philip Laiug, and of them several survive.
