MOTOR CYCLE RACING

'Dobson, of Manchester, ricling a Sunbeam machine, won the senior tourist trophy for motor cycles in the Isle of Man. The race was’for five horse-power motor cycles, and the distance 264 miles. Dobson’s time was 4h llrain 40sec, and his average speed was 62.98 miles an hour. Rain and mist were against record breaking. Last year the average speed of the winner was nearly 68.5 miles an hour. Rowley, riding an A.J.S.. was second, and Ha tell, riding a Scott, was third.
