SUIT CASE AND £2,000
BESTOWED IH WRONG CABIN SENSATION OK AORANGI (Per United Press Association’.] AUCKLAND, Juno 5. A sensation was caused on board the Aorangi before her departure lor Vancouver, when a first class passenger, Mrs Rank, temporarily missed a suit case containing money, jewellery, and other articles, valued at over £2,000. The police were communicated with, and soon a thorough search of ■ tho ship was commenced. T'inally, half an hour before the Aorangi was duo to sail, the missing suit case was found in the after part of tho vessel in tho third class quarters. It appeared that a steward had delivered it there by mistake, instead ot taking it to Mrs Bank’s cabin.
