Kember (rc-ciccted). GENERAL. After a debate a motion—“ That the Alanagement Committee be asked to reconsider its ruling forbidding interprovincinl teams indulging in more than two days’ combined training prior to a representative match ” —was lost by -10 votes to 32. A motion—“ That any Now Zealand representative team touring overseas shall be elected by ballot of the_ affiliated unions”—was lost on tho voices. In tho matter of the classification of unions, Auckland, Hawke’s Ray. Wairarapa, Horowlienua, Taranaki, Wanganui, Canterbury, South Canterbury, Otago, and Southland were classed as “A” unions, and all other unions as “B” unions.
