(Received May 3, at ,8.55 a.m.) News from Coburg states that the Currie libel decision will bo the sub ject of appeal. Following the verdict the returned men hastily organised a public dinner, and held high revels for five hours m an hotel, which was christened -no “ new war college ” by the defence counsel. General Currie has received a telegram from the f -ther of Private G. Pi'ice, the only Canadian killed on Armistice Day, resenting the recalling of distressing memories and wishing General Currie success in his litigation. —Australian Press Association.
