UTILTY POULTRY CLUB
The annual meeting of the Dunedin Utility Poultry Club was held in the Y.M.O.A. rooms. The balance-sheet showed that the club had concluded a very successful year’s work, quite a good bank balance being the result. The membership of the club had increased considerably, and among the new members some very keen poultry enthusiasts have proved good members. The club thanked all who so willingly assisted during the year, including the lecturers, supporters of the club who so liberally contributed towards the funds and special prize list, and the Government poultry instructors (Mr F. C. Brown and Mr Cnssen). The election of officers for the year resulted:—Mr T. H. Dalton, life member® patrons—Messrs R. Mills, J. M. Fraser, E. Oswald Reilly, P. Shacklock, T. P. Macpherson, H. P. Harvey, and John B. Waters; president, Mr J. J. Jowsey; vice-presidents—Messrs R. W. Coombes. R. H. Millard, P. G. Hansen, J. Rattigan, Wm. Holloway, H. L. Sprosen, Jas. Sanders; secretary, A. E. Poulter; committee—Messrs Wm. Collie, C. Bartley, J. Crooks, A. C. Goodlet, Mrs P. White, H. Halford, J. A. Morris: reporter, Mr Wm. Holloway.
