THE NALDERA’S CAPTAIN A SUDDEN END Prass Association— By Telegraph—Copyright SYDNEY, May 2. (Received May 2, at 10.30 a.m.) Captain C. E. Dayas, commander of the Naldcra, died five minutes after dinner last night at sea. A radio message states that the Naldera, which left Sydney at noon yesterday with a. largo number of Loudon passengers, also the Olympic teams, was about 120 miles south when Captain Dayas, who was fifty-four years ol age, collapsed and died. He leaves a widow' and two children in London. The body will bo buried at sea this afternoon. Captain Davas was formerly master of tho Baradine. Mr Hartley (chief officer) will command the Naldera till she reaches Hobart.
