The passenger steamer Manuka sailed on Saturday afternoon for Bluff and Melbourne. The Storm, which arrived yesterday from Wellington, is timed to sail tonight lor Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, Bicton, and Wanganui. The Calm is duo on Friday from Bluff, and is to load and sail the same day for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Wanganui. Tho Holmdalo has been fixed to load bore on Thursday for Wanganui via the usual ports. The Progress is due hero on Friday to load for Port 'Waikato via way ports. ho Waipinta was to leave .Lyttelton this afternoon, and is duo here tomorrow. Sho is timed to sail at noon on Thursday for Oamarn, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Auckland. At 10 p.m. on Saturday the Opihi loft Westport with coal for Dunedin. She is duo on Thursday, and is to sail tho same day for. Westport via Timaru. The Kahika loft Gisborne on Saturday evening for Lyttelton and Dunedin, and she is due at this port tomorrow to load for Napier and Gisborne via ports. The steamer Yoscric is reported by telegraph to have arrived at Westport this morning from Dunedin. She is to replenish her bunkers there before proceeding to Ocean Island to load phosphates for Australia. Tho Melanesian Mission steamer Southern Cross is at present reii thing nt Auckland for her coming cruise in the New Hebrides and Solomon Islands. Sho is duo to leave Auckland on Mav 1.

Tho Shaw, Savill .steamer Mamari is now duo to leave Auckland on April 29 tor London and West of England ports via Cape Horn, alter loading at Nev' Plymouth, Wanganui, Wellington. Gisborne, and Auckland. Tho steamer Piako left. Wellington yesterday morning tor Namier and Auckland for further Homeward loading. She is to sail from Auckland on April 30 for New York and London via Panama. TONGARIRO COMING. The steamer Tongariro is reported to have left Wellington yesterday afternoon for Lyttelton, Timaru, and Dunedin to complete unloading her Liverpool cargo. She is due at this port about. Thursday next. THE QUEEN ELEANOR. The Queen Eleanor, from New York, arrived at Panama on Monday last, and sailed the following day for Auckland, where sho is due on May 15. Tho vessel will discharge cargo at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. MAUI POM ARE FOR WELLINGTON. News has been received that tho new Government motor ship Maui Pomare, now cii route from Homo, loaded tor Samoa, and not lor. New Zealand. Alter discharge at Samoa, the vessel will load there lor Wellington, where she is due about tho middle oi May. NEW 7 PACIFIC COAST SERVICE.

A change has recently taken place in the ownership of the fleet of steamers recently running in the Pacific Coast service, and operated by Swayne ami Hoyt, Incorporated,’ 'as managing agents of the United States Shipping Board. The position is that the Shipping Board lias sold the steamers of the American-Australian-Orient Line to the Oceanic-Oriental Navigation Co.. which proposes to continue a monthly service to New Zealand. Every steamer has been renamed to include the word “Golden,’ the mn names for those trading to New Zealand being:—Dewey,- renamed Golden State; West Carmona, Golden fleece; West Cajoot, Golden Beard; West Calera, Golden Harvest; West Conoh Golden Eagle; West Elcaion, Golden Kauri; West Nivaria, Golden Coast; West Togus, Golden Forest. MAHANA AT COLON. The Shaw, Savill, and Albion steamer Mnhana is reported to have cleared Colon on Monday last in continuation of her voyage from New Zealand to London. She sailed fmm W ellington on March 22. MATAKANA LEAVES BALBOA. The Shaw, Savill, and Albion steamer Matakana, en route from Liverpool, left Balboa on the afternoon of April Id for Auckland, where she _is now due on May 7. The Matakana is bringing general cargo for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin.

NEWBY HALL WITH CARGO. To continue discharge of her American cargo, the steamer Newby Hall arrived at Wellington yesterday from New York via Auckland.
