The trial lias concluded of forty-two persons charged with an economic coun-ter-revolution hy systematically and illegally receiving credits for profiteering operations, also with flooding the financial market with valueless bills and cheques. One was acquitted and seven sentenced to death, including a State bank official. The remainder are to be imprisoned for terms varying from six months to ten years—Australian Press Association.
