The Australian cruiser Melbourne, which is to be sold, and whose officers and ship’s company will turn over to Uio new cruiser Australia, now building at Glasgow, arrived at Portsmouth last evening, and exchanged salute? with the Comamnder-in-chief at Portsmouth. In preparation for her disposal, the guns, with, the exception of quickfirers for saluting purposes, have been removed.
