WON BY HARLEQUIN i Four boats started in the race for | the Brown Cup for sailing boats of 12ft | Gin and under, which was held at Dub- | lln Bay (North-east Harbor) on Satin - - 1 I day afternoon. They were Colleen | (holder), Harlequin, ' Lassie, and Bo- |j wena. A light and tricky breeze blew jl from the south-east, and gave the boats 1 a lead for practically the whole course, whil©_ the general conditions were dull. ~ Starting from Dublin Bay the boats | rounded a buoy off Raynbird’s on the starboard hand, then followed the channel, round a buoy off Colinswood, finishing over the starting line. 'A good start was made by all the competitors, Colleen being away first, followed by Lassie, Harlequin, and Rowena, in that order. On rounding the first buoy Harlequin replaced Lassie and took the lead till the end of the race, while the other positions remained unaltered.
