RAILWAY STRIKE
WESTERN AUSTRALIAN DISPUTE A FURTHER DEVELOPMENT. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright PERTH, April 14. (Received April 14, at 10.45 a.m.) In sympathy with tho Midland railway strikers the State railway employees have refused to handle goods for delivery to the Midland Company. Tho State (Railway Commissioner therefore announced that there was no other course but to refuse to accept further consignments. This development will probably defeat the Midland Company’s endeavor to send a special train from the Midland Junction to Geraldton with aid and officials.
