THE KLAN CONDEMNED

JUDGE'S BITTER SGORN "AN UNLAWFUL INSTITUTION" Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. NEW YORK, April 13. (Received April 14, at 10.55 a.m.) A message from Pittsburg states that in dismissing tho Ku Klux Klan suit against five so-called rebel members, the Federal Judge (Mr Thomson) poured bitter scorn on tho Klan and its principles. He said that the organisation came to court with filthy hands, therefore it deserved no consideration from the court. He also held that it was an unlawful institution, and charged the Klan with being directly responsible for the breaking down of the fundamental principles upon w’hich the United States Government was framed.—Australian Press Association.
